Interplex India, an ISO 9001/2000 certified company, is located in Electronics City of Bangalore offering tooling, precision metal stamping and electroplating services for the automotive, communications, consumer, electronics, industrial and medical markets. The company began operations in 1999 and produces parts for a variety of applications including automotive instrument panels, handsets, electronic connectors and switches.

In 2004, the company doubled the size of its operations to meet the continuing growth of the Indian market. In addition to its plating and stamping capabilities, Interplex India plans to add insert molding in 2005.

INTERPLEX INDIA SUMMARY OF SERVICES:

• Tooling: In-house tooling capabilities include grinding and Wire EDM techniques to produce carbide and steel progressive tooling designed to meet exacting specifications.
  
  
• Prototypes: In-house design and manufacture of prototype tooling for stamped metal components as well as short run volumes.
  
  
• Stamping: Design, manufacture and run progressive dies for mid to high-volume applications. The facility is equipped with Ing-Yu and Bruderer 30 ton presses.
  
  
• Reel-to-Reel Plating: Reel-To-Reel electroplating capabilities include all types of precious and non-precious metal plating over copper, brass and steel alloys. Processes include:
  
  Brush - Gold and/or silver selectively deposited.
  
  All Over - Gold, silver, copper, nickel, tin, tin-lead applied uniformly.
  
  Controlled Depth - Gold, tin or tin-lead selectively deposited.
  
  Stripe - Gold, nickel, tin or tin-lead deposited in single or multiple stripes, on one or both sides.
