Solder Bearing Leads
Interplex Industries' innovative solder and flux bearing leads were developed to help overcome significant challenges in circuits assembly. Interplex's proprietary process attaches a slug containing a precise amount of solder and flux onto each lead or clip that can be easily reflowed and directed to the conductor pad.
Once the lead is assembled onto a substrate, it may be reflowed by any method, with no intermediate operations such as fluxing or solder dispensing. In addition, common quality concerns such as bridging and wicking are eliminated.
Interplex's solder and flux bearing lead technology is available in a wide array of packages including: DIPs, SIPs, SMT and custom applications.
Interplex NAS offers a wide range of assembly equipment for all solder bearing lead applications from simple, inexpensive hand tools to a machine that can handle the entire lead attachment and reflow process. One operator, one machine, one process.
