Interplex Soprec founded in 1971 in Besançon, France specializes in the development and production of mechatronic assemblies, precision metal stamping and custom insert molding and continuous reel-to-reel insert molded components and assemblies. In-house die design, construction, production and tool maintenance for precision metal stamping and insert molded components allows the company to service its customer's needs quickly from the prototype stage to full volume production. Since its inception, Interplex Soprec has grown into a 55,000 square foot facility located just outside of Besançon, France.
Specializing in light to medium gauge (less than .050), tight tolerance, complex parts, Interplex Soprec has also been able to grow its expertise into the heavier gauges (.070 - .100) as the market dictates and evolves. Interplex Soprec has the ability to offer deep drawn parts as well as in-die tapping, riveting, contact button attachment and in-die welding of round or flat wire, shaped tape and precision metal contacts.
The ISO14000 and ISO/TS 16949 registered company has extensive expertise in supporting the automotive component market as well other industries including communications, consumer, electronics, industrial and medical.
Recently EN9100 registered, Interplex Soprec is developing the Aerospace business with success.
INTERPLEX SOPREC SUMMARY OF SERVICES:
In-house design and manufacture of prototype tooling for stamped metal components as well as short run volumes.
In-house tooling capabilities include an integrated Tool Design and Development, 2 CNC Machine centre and a very modern Wire EDM shop to produce carbide and steel tooling designed to meet exacting specifications.
Design, manufacture and run progressive dies for mid to high-volume applications. 25 presses from 15 tons to 200 tons. Interplex Soprec also performs deep draw.
Overmoulding of plastic onto stamped components utilizing 5 automatic lines ranging from 27 tons to 80 tons. High temperature plastics as PPS, PPA and PEEK are in our range of production.
Using 2 automatic welding lines, Interplex Soprec can add precious metal contacts on stamped parts.
