Interplex Nascal to Expand California Operations
Tustin, CA - April 4, 2005 - Interplex Nascal, a division of Interplex Industries, announced today that it is expanding its operations in Tustin, California. The company has signed a purchase agreement for the construction of a new 37,000 square foot facility, which will complement the company's existing operations in the Tustin area.
Interplex Nascal, an ISO 90001-2000 certified company, provides precision metal stamping services to a variety of markets, including the transportation, communications and electronics industries. With the addition of the new facility, Interplex Nascal will occupy over 70,000 square feet of space in the Tustin area. The new facility is expected to be fully operational in the fourth quarter (2005).

"The demand for Interplex Nascal's sophisticated precision metal stamping services continues to grow. The new facility will allow us to meet this demand with the same level of expertise and attention to detail that our customers have come to expect from us."
Interplex Nascal specializes in the manufacture of tight-tolerance, close-pitch, light-gauge stampings including nano-size pins and sockets, power contacts, lead frames, and miniature connector sockets as well as the conversion of screw machined parts to high volume stamped products for cost reduction purposes.
Headquartered in Flushing, NY, Interplex Industries has provided contract design, precision metal stamping, electroplating, insert and injection molding, metal etching and assembly services around the world since 1958. Interplex currently provides its services to the automotive, communications, consumer, electronics, industrial and medical industries. The company has facilities in the United States, Mexico, China, Singapore, India, Scotland, France and Germany.
